Matt Solomon

Matt Solomon came to Bright Star’s parent company, Galvanic Energy, and lithium exploration in 2023 following 15 years of working as a landman for various oil and gas exploration companies in Oklahoma City, Houston and Midland. During that time, Matt oversaw lease development in several basins, including Barnett, Bakken, Delaware and Utica.

Prior to working in the energy industry, Matt worked on news radio as a reporter and morning show producer on both the East and West Coasts. 

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sacramento State, a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism from San Jose State, and a law degree from Oklahoma City University. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, a Certified Petroleum Landman, and author, having published articles in Landman, the magazine of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen.
