Scott Brown
GIS Project Manager
Scott Brown joined Bright Star’s parent company, Galvanic Energy, in 2018, bringing his experience of using and implementing geographic information systems (GIS) in oil and gas to the lithium industry. He is an original member of the team that successfully developed and divested the company’s maiden lithium brine prospect in 2023.
Scott has more than 20 years of experience in GIS, cartography, and data management. His focus has been on geologic and hydrogeologic applications of GIS, including managing extensive well, land and geology databases. Since starting his career implementing GIS in local government, Scott has established a diverse history that includes engineering, survey and environmental projects.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental geography – environmental hazards concentration from Austin Peay State University.
